Fresh Oysters with Tabanero Mignonette

Did someone say oysters? Why yes. Yes, we did. For the third installment in our Chef Fama campaign, he introduces us to this incredible recipe for Oysters with a Tabanero Mignonette!


  • 12 – Large Fresh Oysters
  • 2 – Shallots, Finely Diced
  • 1 tbsp. – Sherry Vinegar
  • 1 – Lime, Juiced
  • 1 tbsp. – Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp. – Sugar
  • 1 tbsp. – Lime Zest
  • Tabañero Hot Sauce, to Taste
  • Fresh Ground Black Pepper, to taste


Cooking Instructions:

Combine all the ingredients together in a sealed container. Shake thoroughly and allow the flavors to marry for at least 1 hour before serving.

Place a healthy tablespoon of the mixture on top of each shucked oyster followed by 1 drop of Tabañero hot sauce and serve cold.
